New Patient: New Medical Patients receive 20% OFF your first visit, 15% OFF your second visit, and 10% OFF your third visit. Wisdom: Patients age 65+ receive 10% OFF every order. Higher Education: College, University, Grad Students & Faculty receive 10% OFF every order. Comfort Care: Medical Patients whose qualifying condition is listed in the NJ CRC Medical Cannabis Program Patient Database as “Terminal Illness” or “Terminal Cancer” will receive 50% off of every order. Compassion: Medical Patients with financial hardship and government assistance programs receive 15% OFF every order. Heroes: Veterans, first responders, and nurses save 25% OFF every order.

What is the difference between medical cannabis and adult use cannabis?

Accepted Answer

Medical cannabis is used by people with a qualifying medical condition who have registered under a state’s medical cannabis program. Patients must carry a practitioner or state issued medical cannabis card in order to purchase and consume cannabis for medical reasons. While some medical products have higher-potency, the cannabis itself is not different from what can be purchased for recreational adult-use.

I have never visited a dispensary. Can I just walk in and shop?

Ayr Dispensaries are adult-use and medical, which means you’ll need a valid state-issued 21+ ID card or a state-issued medical cannabis card to walk through the door and make a purchase, no appointment necessary. Out of state IDs and federally issued passport cards or books are other acceptable forms of ID for adult-use age verification.

How much Cannabis can I buy in one visit?

Adult-use customers can purchase up to one ounce (28.35 grams) of cannabis or its equivalent in other forms like edibles or concentrates per daily transaction at a licensed dispensary. Medical patients can purchase up to three ounces (85 grams) a month.

Is there a possession limit?

Adults can legally have up to 6 ounces of cannabis or cannabis products for personal use. Possession above this limit is considered a felony.

Can I visit the dispensary more than once per day?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can visit multiple times in a single day as long as you adhere to the legal purchase limits across all purchases combined for the day.

Cash, debit cards, Cann Pay, and Dutchie Pay by Bank are currently accepted at all dispensary locations.

What are the rules for Exchanges & Returns?

All sales are final, no exchanges or returns. Defective products can only be exchanged within 7 days with proof of purchase.

Can I consume cannabis in store?

Accepted Answer

No. Consumption is prohibited on all Ayr Dispensaries property. Cannabis use is restricted to private property; public consumption is generally prohibited unless in designated licensed spaces.

Can I bring cannabis across state borders?

Accepted Answer

No, it is illegal to transport cannabis across state borders, even if both states have legalized its use.

How can I become a medical patient?

Patients are eligible for a state-issued medical cannabis card if they have a qualifying condition. New and existing patients can register or renew their cards at: njmcp.crc.nj.gov
