Ayr Ohio dispensaries are dual-licensed to serve both Ohio Medical Patients and Adult-Use customers.

What is the difference between medical cannabis and adult use cannabis?

Medical cannabis is used by people with a qualifying medical condition who have registered under a state’s medical cannabis program. Patients must carry a practitioner or state issued medical cannabis card in order to purchase and consume cannabis for medical reasons. While some medical products have higher-potency, the cannabis itself is not different from what can be purchased for recreational adult-use.

How much Cannabis can I buy in one visit?

Recreational (Adult-Use) Purchasing Limits: Flower: Up to 2.5 ounces (approx. 70.75 grams) per day. Extracts/Edibles/Vapes: Up to 15,000 mg of total THC per day. Concentrates: Up to 15 grams. Medical Patient Purchasing Limits: Registered Ohio medical marijuana patients and their caregivers can also purchase up to the same daily maximum as recreational users (2.5 ounces of flower and 15,000 mg of THC). However, medical patients have additional benefits: Bulk Purchase: Patients can buy up to four days’ worth of supplies in a single transaction (up to 10 ounces of plant material and 60,000 mg of THC). 90-Day Supply: Patients are limited to a 90-day supply, which is calculated as 90 times the daily limit.

Is there a possession limit?

Yes, Ohio states that adults 21+ may legally possess up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis flower and 15 grams of extract.

Can I visit the dispensary more than once per day?

Yes, you can visit multiple times in a single day as long as you adhere to the legal purchase limits across all purchases combined for the day.

Cash, Debit Cards, CanPay, and DutchiePay are all accepted forms of payment.

What are the rules for Exchanges & Returns?

Ayr Dispensary can compliantly accept returns on the following: defective product, product that does not match the item on your receipt, and/or products that have been mislabeled by the Cultivator or Processor. If you believe your product is defective, mislabeled, and/or a result of an error in dispensing, you may return the product in its original packaging to this location within 30 days of the purchase date for a full refund of the purchase price. Returns for plant material and edibles are not accepted unless they are the result of a recall or error in dispensing. In the event of a product recall, returns will be accepted with original packaging containing remaining product, for a full refund at the place of purchase, irrespective of purchase date.

Can I consume cannabis in store?

No. Consumption is prohibited on all Ayr Dispensaries property. Cannabis use is restricted to private property; public consumption is generally prohibited unless in designated licensed spaces.

Can I bring cannabis across state borders?

No, it is illegal to transport cannabis across state borders, even if both states have legalized its use.

We are not currently offering delivery but select Ayr Ohio stores do have drive-thru options available! All drive-thru locations are cash only, require a pre-order, and are open with reduced hours: Mon–Thu: 10AM – 8PM Fri–Sat: 10AM – 9PM Sun: 11AM – 6PM
